At long last the newly designed Texas-High-School-Football is "live"!

In addition to a major overhaul in the look and feel of our site, all links to outside websites have been updated. Apparently it was a rough year for some who have disappeared from the scene.

The most popular part of Texas-High-School-Football.com has been the extensive photo gallery. That will continue "as is", since we see no reason to fix what was working very well. We hope in the future all of you who enjoy taking pictures of the games will submit them for inclusion.

In the near future Texas-High-School-Football.com will be publishing at least three blogs.  The first will be this "technically oriented" one.  In the immediate future, we look forward to adding blogs focusing on the game itself, one by my brother, Jerry, and the other by one of the true Gurus of Texas high school football, Billy Webb.

Upon moving "back home" to Texas, after spending a couple of decades in Oregon, Jerry immediately became heavily involved in Texas high school football again, traveling throughout East Texas riding the roller coaster that has been the Royse City Bulldogs the last several years.  He has also spent time attending various other high profile games around the state, and has become immersed in the ins and outs of Texas high school football.

Billy is a native son of the great state of Texas, and has followed high school football here for over 50 years!  He and other family members have been heavily involved in Texas high school football, both as players and at a coaching level for a very long time.  Although most of us seem to have problems remembering what happened a week ago, once we hit the big 5 - 0, Billy can tell stories about the history of "The Game" that will keep you mesmerized forever!

So keep an eye out for the newest blogs from Billy and Jerry!  You'll be glad you did...

With the submission of Texas-High-School-Football.com to Google, Yahoo, and Bing this last week the decision was made to also release our fully operational message board that has been in "test mode" until now.

You will find that the format is very simple to use and is very organized.  Although our forum is primarily focused on Texas high school football, there are also areas to discuss college, pro, or national high school football.  In addition we have included special forums for subjects like hunting, fishing, and racing.  We welcome your input for making Texas-High-School-Football.com Forum the best it can be!

One word of caution...  although we fully support freedom of thought.  Absolutely no "attack mentality" will be allowed on this forum.  Treat other members with respect, your comments will be valued...  decide to disregard that rule, say bye bye.
